Congrats on the app launch, but can someone who is not on the Setapp team please explain to me what the appeal is here? Why would I want a subscription service for apps and never actually own them? If I continue to use this, I am eventually going to pay more than I would had I just purchased a license for the apps I really want.
I like the idea of this recommendation engine, but after trying Setapp itself I'm turned off by the subscription service. Would prefer to pay a flat fee and completely own the apps I use. If you offer that as an option rather than paying a monthly fee, I might be inclined to give it another look.
