Why we built SEODoc instead of using 10 different SEO tools
When we started working on websites and SEO projects, we kept running into the same problem:
Our workflow was scattered everywhere.
One tool for technical audits.
Another for indexing.
Another for monitoring uptime.
Another for reporting.
And spreadsheets connecting everything together.
It worked… but it was slow, messy, and frustrating.
That’s what pushed us to start building SEODoc.
Our goal wasn’t to create “another SEO platform.
We wanted to simplify the everyday SEO workflow for founders, marketers, agencies, and small teams.
A few things we focused on while building it:
→ Clear technical SEO audits
→ Faster indexing workflows
→ Website monitoring in one place
→ Simpler client reporting
→ Clean UI without overwhelming dashboards
One thing we learned early:
Most people don’t actually want hundreds of SEO metrics.
They want answers to questions like:
Why isn’t my page ranking?
Why isn’t Google indexing this page?
What issue should I fix first?
How do I monitor everything without wasting hours?
That mindset shaped most of our product decisions.
We also spent a lot of time improving usability because many SEO tools feel built only for advanced users. We wanted SEODoc to feel approachable even for smaller teams and solo founders.
Launching on Product Hunt is honestly both exciting and nerve-racking for us 😅
We’d genuinely love feedback from the community:
What SEO workflow frustrates you most today?
What integrations/features would make this more useful for your team?
Thanks everyone for checking out SEODoc 🚀
