I believe collecting user feedback is one of the most important things you can do while building a product. I used to run a B2C app with 100k monthly users a couple years ago, and got so frustrated with existing solutions which were either too complicated or too expensive, that I ended up using a single Google Form. I don't need to tell you how tedious the process of going through all the answers was.
Fast forward to today, I sold that app, and for the last 5 months I've been working on Modu.io , a feedback collection tool that allows businesses and communities to create multiple kinds of feedback modules (suggestions with voting, roadmaps, changelogs, polls, ratings, open questions) and either organize them in a public board, link to them directly, or use them as in-app embeds/popups.
Our app was sh*t? Just temporarily. A bug was reported through our in-app feedback channel where some users saw an error screen when they shouldn t have. In a few cases, people couldn t even register. That truly sucks. As a developer, you mostly use your app in perfect conditions. Real users don t. I ve seen this screen once in almost a year and it made sense then. For others, it didn t. This is exactly why: real users matter real feedback matters and a direct feedback channel is essential Without it, we d be losing users silently and that s the scariest failure of all. Huge thanks to everyone who reported it (even the angry ones). Most genuinely wanted to help, and that means a lot. More tomorrow.

hey PH, so much good has come out of this community for me. Sharing something exciting we've been working really hard on for the past month.
tldr: 80% of Content creators in the 10k-1M range don't have professional agency representation and spend ~60% of their time on admin around brand deals (brand discovery, outreach, follow-ups, pricing), which is their main source of revenue, by the way. I have led content and growth at a YCw20 and have done ML at LinkedIn and found a burning intersection I can really help with. YC's RFS was pleasant timing as well.

While I can point you guys to the platform immediately, unfortunately, we are jumping through CASA and other approvals on social media platforms (We connect with those to create a deep creator DNA and find the best fit brands), and literally need to onboard every user as a tester on our sandbox. But hey, do things that don't scale!
