Preparing for a launch tomorrow
This one started from an argument, not an idea. Casually said something I "knew" was true, got fact-checked on the spot, and it turned out that thing had been disproven years ago.
The early version of this was just a spreadsheet I kept for myself, tracking things I'd learned that had quietly changed since. It didn't feel like a "product" until I picked my own graduation year and had that same "wait, seriously?" reaction about six times in a row. That led me to compile it into a website named sinceyougraduated.online
It's a free, simple website, no signup, no paywall, just pick your year and see what's changed.
p/sinceyougraduated is the forum page and it is open for any type of discussions related to the website.
Would like genuine feedback on how to bring in people into the product's forum and get early traction.
I have ticked the items in the checklist for my first launch and what all are the other things that one may recommend to boost visibility?
And last but not least, as part of the launch preparation, I have made a launch video. It's a bit ridiculous and at the same time amusing.

the thing that surprised me is that a new product forum has no room in it yet, so posting there is close to posting to yourself. my account has 6 followers and my own threads get about 2 views whatever i write.
what actually worked was commenting on other peoples threads where the audience already exists. every real conversation i have had here came from that, none from my own threads. abdullah javaid ran eight threads from the same account into the same forum, six got nothing and one filled up, so a lot of it is variance too.
so for tomorrow i would spend the day in other launch threads rather than on your own forum, and post in yours once there are people to read it.
happy to look at the launch page before it goes live if that is useful, i have read a lot of them this month. what is your plan for the first hour?
@jernej_jan_kocica the launch-page read, that's a real offer and i'm taking it.
