People are asking their favorite AI for recommendations instead of Googling how are you adapting?

Something big is shifting and I don't think enough founders are talking about it. We're watching it happen in real time nearly 3,000 AI crawler reads on our platform and the counter moves every minute.

People aren't only Googling anymore they're asking their favorite AI for recommendations. Which raises a real question: when someone asks an AI for a solution in your space, does your brand come up? Or your competitor's?

I've spent the last 3 months building in this space and here's what I've learned:

• LLMs favor structured, clean, machine-readable data over noisy web pages
• Being "findable by AI" (GEO) is becoming as important as SEO was 10 years ago
• It's not just SaaS local stores, restaurants, ecommerce, freelancers, solopreneurs and new projects all benefit from being citable by AI

I built CitableHub to explore this it structures projects so any LLM can read and cite them. So far we've tracked thousands of verified reads across 12 categories, and it's growing daily (the map above is the live view).

Curious to hear from this community: are you doing anything today to make your product discoverable by AI? Or is it still 100% Google for you?

Happy to share what's worked.
