Launching tomorrow: Sleepward, a bedtime routine for people who stay up late on purpose

by•

Hi everyone, I'm Jim, an independent iPhone developer. Sleepward launches on Product Hunt tomorrow, October 15.

It's for revenge bedtime procrastination: staying up late because the evening is the only part of the day that feels like yours. Instead of fighting that, Sleepward gives you Your Hour, 15 to 60 minutes of personal time that always ends before your bedtime, then a short reset: a private Brain Dump, up to three things for tomorrow, and free white, pink or brown noise with a fade-out sleep timer.

It never scores your sleep. The core routine is free, with no account, no ads and no tracking SDKs. It's a wellbeing tool, not a treatment for insomnia.

I'd love honest answers to two questions:

1. Do you stay up late to get time for yourself?

2. Would a fixed personal hour with a clear end help, or would you just keep extending it?

Honest answers: yes, when you build something on the side, the late evening is often the only quiet part of the day. A fixed hour with a clear end would work for me only if the end is gentle. A hard stop I'd just dismiss, a fade like your noise timer I'd probably accept. Not scoring sleep is a smart call too, a score makes people anxious about the exact thing they're trying to relax into. Good luck with the launch today!
