Introduction + how do I build excitement around a product?

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new here and don't naturally post often, so sorry if my tone/clarity is not on point lol or if this is not the right thread for this.

Basically, I've spent the last several months building and testing this fitness app; from a product perspective, I feel really good about.

The only issue is I really have no idea how to build a community/get people interested in it. Right now, I have about 20 active users, but it's all either my friends or friends of friends. The app is under review by Apple right now, but I am not sure if I should spend more time building up hype around it or just release it. I have an Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that I plan to start uploading consistently too, but that's really my only plan (on top of posting here lol).

Any advice on this would be really appreciated. Thank you!
