Hey Product Hunters! šŸ‘‹ I'm Caroline, and I just launched Drop-Kit — a free tool that turns any link, tweet, photo or text into a beautiful social post image.

The itch I was scratching: I kept wanting to share articles, product links, or quotes on social media, but making them lookgood was either too slow (design tools) or too ugly (plain screenshots). So I built the thing I wanted.

What it does: Drop in a URL, paste some text, or upload a photo → pick a style → download or copy to clipboard. That's the whole loop.

What's in the kit:

  • 28+ hand-tuned styles — editorial layouts, device mockups (iPhone, desktop, tablet), polaroid collages, brutalist posters, Bauhaus, Memphis, and more

  • 8 sizes covering every major platform (Square, Story, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more)

  • Zero AI — it doesn't rewrite your content or hallucinate anything. It pulls OG metadata and you control the rest

  • No account, no signup, no paywall — your draft lives in the URL so you can bookmark and come back to it

  • Photos stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Who it's for: Creators, indie founders, newsletters, anyone who shares stuff online and wants it to look sharp without spending 20 minutes in Figma.

I'd love to hear what you think — especially if something breaks or if there's a style you wish existed. Happy to answer questions below!
