I built HookFrames because finding a clip isn’t enough — I wanted to understand why it was chosen
For the past 18 days, I’ve been building HookFrames.
The idea came from watching long creator and streamer videos and realizing that finding a short moment isn’t the difficult part. The difficult part is deciding which moment can actually stand on its own and understanding why.
With HookFrames, you paste a YouTube, Twitch, Kick or Vimeo link and choose an objective: reach, authority, engagement or conversion.
It analyzes the complete video, identifies promising moments, explains the reasoning behind each selection, and turns them into editable 9:16 clips.
It doesn’t predict views and it doesn’t automatically publish anything. The final decision stays with the creator.
The product is now live, but I’m still improving it. I’d especially like honest feedback on one question:
Would seeing the reasoning and exact clip range before rendering make you trust an AI clipping tool more?
