I built an AI fitness coach because generic plans kept failing me

by

I’ve spent the last few months building Apex Pulse PRO on my own.

The idea started from something simple: most workout and nutrition plans look personal, but they are usually written for an imaginary average person.

They do not really know whether you train at home or in a gym, whether you slept badly, whether your shoulder hurts, or whether you already told the system not to include a certain exercise.

That became the hardest part of building the product.

Generating a workout is easy. Making the coach remember the details that actually matter when someone asks for a different workout or a harder version is much harder.

I recently fixed a case where an explicit shoulder limitation had to remain active across follow-up requests. I also changed the app so it no longer shows personalized recovery values before the user has completed their profile.

The product is still evolving, and I am building it alone from Bulgaria.

I would genuinely value feedback on the first experience:

Does the onboarding feel worth it once you see the plan?

And what would make you trust an AI fitness coach enough to use it more than once?
