I built a small MVP to test a new way of making career decisions (would love your thoughts)
Hey everyone 👋
Most career platforms rely on aptitude or personality tests.
They can be interesting… but they don’t really tell you what it’s like to actually do the job.
I kept wondering:
What if instead of just answering questions on a form…
You could actually try short, hands-on tasks from different careers — like a mini preview of the job?
So I decided to build a basic MVP around that idea.
You can check it out here 👉 link
It’s super early, but the goal is simple:
✅ Explore different careers
✅ Try small, realistic tasks
✅ Get a feel for whether you’d enjoy the work before committing years of your life to it
Now I’d love some feedback from this community:
Would something like this have helped you (or someone you know) in choosing a career?
What features would make it genuinely useful?
Do you see any challenges with this approach?
I know it’s rough right now, but I really want to test whether the concept itself resonates.
Thanks in advance
