I built a marketplace for reusable AI skills — where every listing has to prove it works

Over the past few weeks I've been building Skill Exchange, a marketplace for reusable AI "skills" — SKILL.md / system-prompt files that teach an assistant a specific workflow (generate a branded PDF, scaffold a Chrome extension, write in your voice, audit code, etc.).

The thing I care most about: instead of the usual untested prompt packs, every listing has to prove it works. You can't publish a skill without attaching a real project URL and a screenshot of it in actual use, and each one is reviewed by a human before it goes live. The goal isn't to be another prompt dump — it's to make reusable skills you can actually buy on evidence.

A few details: there are 180+ free skills to start, paid ones are one-time (no subscriptions, sellers keep 95%), everything works across Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini / Cursor / Copilot rather than being locked to one, and you can browse the whole thing without an account.

Right now I'm working on automated per-seller payouts so more creators can list and sell their own skills, and expanding the categories beyond the initial set.

I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback on the product, the landing page, or the overall idea. I'm happy to answer anything about how it's built or why I made certain choices — like enforcing proof of concept, or the dual-currency ($ / ₹) checkout.
