I built a free AI name meaning search engine as my first web project — here's what I learned

by

I learned an interesting lesson after launching NAMASTRA on Product Hunt.

I shared our launch in 10+ groups and communities, hoping for support from fellow founders and makers. Despite many views and positive reactions, we received only 1 upvote.

This reminded me of a harsh reality of the startup world: many people ask for support, but far fewer take a few seconds to support others.

Still, I'm grateful for that one person who believed in what we're building. Every genuine supporter matters more than a hundred silent observers.

Building a product teaches resilience. You keep improving, keep sharing, and keep moving forward regardless of the numbers.

If you'd like to support NAMASTRA, I'd truly appreciate it:

NAMASTRA

To everyone building something from scratch: don't let low engagement stop you. Keep creating. Your audience takes time to find you. 🚀

Wow, Tushal—what a cool project! I love the idea of an AI‑powered name meaning search. Congrats on getting it out there and staying resilient despite the upvote count. If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon... would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile).
