hangman for tech terms (DevOps, cybersecurity, networking, AI…). What would you add?
Hi all, solo dev here. I released Guess the Code, a free Android word game where every answer is a tech term. Think hangman or Wordle, but for DevOps, cybersecurity, networking, AI and more.
Play Store: Guess the Code - Apps on Google Play
How it works:
- You get a clue, for example "A key-value NoSQL database by Amazon", and a row of empty tiles.
- Tap letters on the keyboard. Right letters turn yellow and fill in the tiles. Wrong letters turn red and cost you a heart (you have 5).
- Stuck? You can use a hint.
What's in it:
- Topics: DevOps & Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Science & AI, Networking, Database Management, Mobile Development, UI/UX Design, Embedded Systems & IoT, Game Development
- A bank of about 1,000 words
- Free. There's a small banner ad, and if you want you can watch an ad for +1 hint or +3 extra attempts.
What I'd like feedback on:
Are the clues fair? Too easy, too hard, or too vague?
Is 5 hearts the right amount? Do the hints feel fair?
Is anything confusing in the first minute?
Android only for now. Screenshots are attached.
