Gambling is entering more parts of daily life — I built an app to help people push back

Hey everyone,

I’d like to share something I’ve been working on.

Gambling doesn’t look like it used to anymore.

It’s no longer only casinos or betting shops. It’s sports betting, online slots, prediction markets, crypto-style apps, loot boxes, card packs, skin gambling, and “quick money” platforms.

Some of it is even mixed into games and entertainment, which worries me a lot — especially for younger people growing up with these systems as something normal.

Everything is faster now.

One tap to deposit.
One tap to bet.
One tap to chase again.

I think this is going to become a bigger issue in society over the next years, because gambling is becoming more accessible while the tools to fight back are still limited.

That’s why I built Still.

Still is an app for people who want to stop gambling, gamble less, or block betting/gambling apps before it becomes a bigger problem.

It helps with gambling urge control tools, blocking gambling apps/websites, trigger tracking, progress tracking, money protected over time, a 30-day recovery program, and a private support circle.

The idea is not to shame anyone.

The idea is to create distance between the urge and the action.

Still is not a cure or a replacement for professional help, but I hope it can be a useful support tool for people who want more control.

I’ve also prepared a Product Hunt launch for Tuesday, July 21. I’d really appreciate feedback, comments, or support when it goes live.

For now, I’d love any honest feedback on the app, the idea, or how to make this kind of tool reach people in an ethical way.
