FairSign — sign a PDF without the file ever leaving your browser (live Sept 1)
Something that's bugged me for years: to put my own signature on my own contract, every tool wants me to upload the file to their server first.
Nobody else is ever going to see that document. Why does it need to go anywhere?

Signing something yourself stays in your browser. The PDF gets read and rewritten right in the tab. Nothing gets sent. If you don't believe me, open DevTools, go to the Network tab, drop a file in, and watch the zero requests. It also still works with your wifi off.
Sending a document to someone else is a different story and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. That one uploads. It has to, since it emails them a link and puts an audit trail in the finished PDF. The app tells you which mode you're in.
