Something that's bugged me for years: to put my own signature on my own contract, every tool wants me to upload the file to their server first.

Nobody else is ever going to see that document. Why does it need to go anywhere?

The premise: signing your own PDF happens entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded you can open the network panel and watch nothing leave. Every mainstream tool uploads first, because that is simpler to build and because it enables features we deliberately do not have.
