Distribution of Rainlog: The Diary of Rainfall for Gardeners and the Question You Need to Challenge

by•

Rainlog is an app for gardeners that allows recording rains and watering, seeing which beds get too much and which beds too little over a month. I made it for my mother's allotment; we had rotten tomatoes due to the wet June.

The app consists of simple Supabase backend and Next.js frontend, but the most difficult thing was not coding. The challenge was to make logging easier than writing on the shed wall, I managed to minimize the entry to two taps.

And here is when I really need your critique. Right now it only works for people who do logging daily. Do I have to include rainfall information gathered from the weather station databases in order to make the app more convenient, but more cold-blooded?
