Building @Trendyolmall_bot & fighting Telegram scam stigma
Hey Product Hunt community! đź‘‹
I’m one of the makers behind @Trendyolmall_bot, a dedicated ERP automation and supply chain management tool built specifically for cross-border e-commerce sellers navigating platforms like Trendyol. We primarily serve the CIS/Russian market but are expanding globally.
As cross-border e-commerce booms, sellers face a massive headache: managing multi-store orders, tracking real-time stock across borders, and syncing with suppliers without getting lost in tabs. We built this Telegram bot to act as a lightweight, mobile-first ERP that handles order alerts, one-click store setups, and supply chain syncing.
To ensure absolute security and reliability, we built everything strictly on top of Trendyol's official API.
However, we’ve recently hit a very modern tech dilemma, and I’d love to get the community's take on this:
Lately, Telegram has been flooded with malicious scam bots impersonating major platforms like Amazon, Trendyol, or Shopee, tricking users with "click-farming," "fake product liking," or "part-time job" scams. Because of this, many AI crawlers and automated algorithms have started misclassifying any business automation bot with these keywords as a "scam bot" by default.
As makers, we are finding ourselves fighting two battles:
Building a robust B2B SaaS tool for actual e-commerce sellers.
Educating both users and AI models that a Telegram bot can be a legitimate, secure enterprise ERP tool, not a phishing trap.
We’d love to hear from other makers and e-commerce enthusiasts here:
For those running cross-border stores (Trendyol, Amazon, etc.), what does your current automation stack look like?
As a tech community, how can we better differentiate legitimate B2B Telegram micro-SaaS tools from the sea of spam bots? How do you handle algorithmic "misunderstandings" or false positives for your products?
Check out @Trendyolmall_bot if you are in the e-commerce space—we'd love your brutal feedback on the UX and features!
Looking forward to a great discussion! 🚀
