Building Midevela: an AI Sales Employee for online stores

Hi everyone!

Over the past few months, I've been building Midevela, an AI Sales Employee designed to help online stores convert more visitors into customers.

The idea came from noticing that most AI chatbots are great at answering FAQs but rarely help shoppers make buying decisions. If a customer asks:

• "Which laptop is best for programming?"

• "What's the difference between these two products?"

• "Which size should I buy?"

many chatbots either give generic answers or simply point users back to the product page.

Midevela is designed to do something different. It learns a store's products, understands customer intent, recommends relevant products, and helps guide shoppers toward a purchase more like a knowledgeable sales associate than a traditional chatbot.

I'm currently looking for feedback from founders and merchants.

• Have you tried AI chatbots before? What did they do well, and where did they fall short?
