A slightly embarrassing story about why we built MINTI

We were using AI to help with our own writing, and at some point we noticed something weird.

We’d ask it to improve an idea → it would rewrite everything → we’d read it → “wow, this is actually good.”

…and then realize we weren’t even sure what we thought anymore 😭

That stuck with us.

So we started experimenting with a different kind of AI, one that doesn’t immediately grab your idea and run with it, but actually makes you slow down, question it, and figure out what you want to say.

That little experiment eventually became MINTI.

We’ve been building it for a while, and today we’re finally letting other people play with it.

Honestly, I’m more curious about what people hate about it than what they like 😂
