[About me]
Hi! I’m Jumi, a product designer rethinking how we interact with the digital fragments we leave behind.
I’ve always been fascinated by screenshots — as half-thoughts, reminders, and visual bookmarks of our lives. What if we could use them better?
Back in 2020, I attempted to design a screenshot-based system for my graduation project.
But for many reasons — timing, limitations, pressure — it never came to life.
For years, I carried that unfinished feeling with me.
Then, this April, a surprising spark reignited the idea — and I’ve been rebuilding it ever since, now with ChatGPT as my design partner.
[Project 'SMIM']
SMIM is a concept system that uses AI to classify your saved images by intention — like “to buy,” “to watch,” or “to revisit.” It then turns them into tasks and helps you track them in a fluid, planner-like interface.
While I never imagined commercializing this idea, I was surprised to see a similar direction in Apple’s iOS 26 this June — particularly in how AI is being used to interpret screenshots.
In that context, I’d love to hear how my concept lands with others, and what kind of value (if any) it conveys.
It’s a system where your screenshots don’t just sit in a folder — they move with your life.
Thank you!

This is interesting. I always have to go back looking for my screenshots and it is a bit frustrating. This could bring value specially if the interface is intuitive and easy to use.
