When does a reminder feel helpful—and when does it feel like nagging?

by•

Some reminders feel like relief: they arrive at the right moment, make the next step obvious, and let you stop carrying something in your head. Others feel like the app is scolding you for not acting.

We’re thinking carefully about that distinction while building Savor. Is the difference the timing, the tone, how often it repeats, or whether you chose the reminder yourself?

I’d love to hear a real example:

  • When did a reminder genuinely help you?

  • What makes one cross the line into nagging?

  • If you’re not ready to act, what should happen instead?

Share anything you’re comfortable sharing, minus private details. I’ll report back on what we learn and how it shapes Savor.
