I wasn't expecting much but wow – the concept of using a spotlight-esqe menu to combine both task view and also task adding without leaving other pages is oh so cool (plus it has a calendar and event/tasks). Event/tasks are the best implementation I've seen. They appear only as an event on my calendar and as an event/task on the app. Perfect. Google Calendar integration is flawless. Routine still has a ways to go in terms of general UI, but not too much to complain about as I know it's gonna get better. The base functionality is right on, almost. What's holding me back from switching to Routine full-time: - I use my iPad Pro as my daily driver as a student, and I would love full functionality in the app, even if I still have to use an iPhone shaped one (or even a web app in Safari would be fine) - Likewise, I need full functionality on my iPhone, where I record many tasks each day while on the go (e.g. setting dates on other days) - A search button/bar is definitely needed (ultimately I'd love to see every single command put into the dashboard bar including just showing tasks that match my input) That's it. If you use your Mac for more than 90% of your task management, definitely give Routine a spin. (I try out apps like this by copying a day's tasks into it, then using it for that day, and repeating until I drop it or add it to my workflow). I know this is geared toward MacOS first users, but a little bit of polish on the iPhone and iPad apps and I'm all in. I'll be following! I hope this app takes off!
