Hey everyone — I'm Imad, I built Pellica.
I shoot 35mm in Paris and I was tired of juggling a notebook, a light meter app, Google Maps for labs, and a spreadsheet for my film stock. So I built the app I wished existed.
The idea is simple: close the feedback loop between shooting and getting your scans back. When you can see that frame 14 was f/2.8 at 1/60 in overcast light, you stop guessing and start learning.
PetaPixel covered it this week, and 200+ photographers signed up in the first 5 days.
Would love to hear what you think — especially if you shoot film. And if you don't, I'm curious what questions you have about why people still do.
