RoadGoat - Find your perfect travel place

Hey Product Hunt 👋, @kurosh_hashemi, @hassan_rehman, and @vertocc here! The RoadGoat community tells the story of what each place, whether a town, city, region, or country, is about. We help each other unearth and spend time at those unique destinations that align best with our interests. Our users give guidance by rating places and assigning them different interest groups (such as LGBT-friendly, foodie, nightlife, or posh). So let's say you want to find a hippie town in New England, with great access to beaches. We might suggest Wellfleet in Cape Cod. We augment our user insights with affordability, safety, and Covid indexes, as well as things to do, such as hikes, points of interest, and more. Your time is limited and we want you to spend it at places you'll love most. RoadGoat started as a privacy-conscious "quantified self" platform to beautifully visualize everywhere a traveler has been. We enabled users to sync location history from a number of partners and from there, the quality of data insights we had about places grew. This enabled us to start building places' personalities. RoadGoat was part of SAP.iO's travel accelerator and the University of California's UC LAUNCH accelerator and is official partners of SAP Concur and Kayak. Our team is spread across the US (Kurosh), the UK (Hassan) and Brazil (Verto), and our goal is to be the web's source of insights about travel destinations. Thanks for your support, hunters.
