RiftWords: Multilingual Daily Word Game - A daily word puzzle in 13 languages on day one.

by
Most daily word puzzles ship English-first and add other languages later as an afterthought. RiftWords is built multilingual from the foundation: 13 languages on day one, each with its own offline dictionary and real letter frequencies, not a translation layer. Tap letters to spell on a 7x10 grid where rift tiles count down to explode, scramble, and deduct points. The daily board is the same seed for everyone who speaks your language. No accounts, no subscription, no streak anxiety. Solo dev.

Hi Product Hunt, Andrew Gray here, solo dev behind RiftWords. Almost every word puzzle I love is English-only, or ships in English first and adds other languages a year later as "international support." I have a Russian degree and years around languages, and that afterthought treatment always bugged me. I wanted the opposite: a word game where Spanish, German, Russian, Greek, Turkish (and more) are first-class from day one. The problem I kept hitting while building it: most puzzle engines quietly assume English. Letter frequencies, word validation, the daily seed. So I rebuilt each of those per language instead of templating off English. Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek were my stress test. I wanted to prove the engine wasn't accidentally hard-coded to Latin script, and Greek caps plus Cyrillic forced real font work I did not see coming. What it became: a 7x10 grid, tap to spell, letters fall after each clear, rift tiles that count down to explode, scramble your board, and deduct points. 13 languages bundled offline, four with native-reviewed UI, nine more with native dictionaries and review rolling out. Four modes. Free, with an optional $4.99 Pro unlock. No accounts, no subscription. First time launching on PH. I'll be in the comments all day. Tell me what breaks in your language, that's the feedback I can't get any other way. First 50 get RiftWords+ free! Comment or DM me for a promo code, first come first served. After that it's $2.99 all launch week (normally $4.99).
