Just got some recommendations. Second one suggested was very cool and I never would've thought of it. I think a sweethome / wirecutter for gifts is a real need. The text suggestion strategy is great for proof of concept, but I think you need a site to dump people in after so many tries. Otherwise it's too costly. Plus, after seeing the creativity of the suggestions, it made me want to see the full list. So even though I was happy with the second option, I kept thinking, "I want to see more!"
