ResumeMuser is a resume management and job application enhancement tool. The current version helps create and manage resumes and cover letters. It also lets users prepare for job applications and helps answer pre-interview questions.

I started working on this as a side project because I wanted to automate the process of creating all the artifacts needed to apply for jobs using information that I already had available (i.e., my full resume). The current iteration of the product allows you to save and version resumes and cover letter (only text for now, but more structured formats will follow). Given a job description, you can tailor your resume and cover letter for that job. You can also get help answering screening questions. It is still a work in progress, and there are several improvements I would like to see. For now, I would appreciate feedback and suggestions.
Great project! One suggestion, sometimes I update text in my resume based on job requirement criteria so the keywords match better, if there could be some AI-enhanced writing options or suggestions, it would be even better!

Thank you for checking it out and thanks for the suggestion. There is an option to enhance resume based on a given job description that might sort of accomplish what you're suggesting. I am thinking about implementing some type of writing suggestions on the future that would be more in line with your recommendation.
yepp! that will be great! Right now I sometimes use ChatGPT to help me rephrase certain words, or grammarly to correct grammars, so some writing recommendations would be much appreciated!

To answer your questions: - I am using Open AI APIs behind the scenes to tailor resumes and cover letters based on job descriptions. - I have considered this feature and would like to implement it at some point. However, I have other features in mind that will add higher value and require less effort than this kind of integration. What do you think?

Great product idea! it's so painful when you're out of work after redundancy, along with many others, and you have to keep applying for jobs over & over. This eases that burden enormously.

Thank you. This will require some thinking, but it's an interesting thought. If we integrate with external job boards to directly apply from ResumeMuser, measuring performance might be possible. Good suggestion for future improvement! Thanks.
