Launching in 8 hours! - How do you give a bid one last check before it goes out?
Hi all, Graeme here. I'm building something in the proposal and bid space, launching on Product Hunt in 8 hours. At times I didn't think I would get to a launch, steep learning curve, one step forwards, two steps back. But the day has finally come!
Here's what I believe and what we're building towards. The best proposal should win the work. Too often it doesn't, and not because it was weak, but because something the buyer asked for slipped through on a busy week.
Anyone who works on bids, the bid teams, the consultants, the agencies, the smaller firms, the solo bidders, will find ReqFit a time saver. I want to give them the same final review they would get from a trusted colleague if they had the time.
That's the vision. Now the question, because I want to build this around how people actually work: when a proposal is basically done and the deadline is close, what's your last check before you send it off? A real process, a checklist, a colleague who reads it cold? Or a quick skim and a hope?
I'm especially interested in the times you skipped that final check and wished you hadn't. No wrong answers, I just want to learn how this really happens before we show you what we've built.
