I joined RePod not too long ago and it has become my go-to listening app. All of my favorite podcasts are available and I've been able to discover new shows in my favorite genre through the recommendations of the users I follow. Being a Podcaster myself, the ability to clip specific sections of episodes to share is awesome! Listeners can even leave monetary tips!

โœŒ๏ธ Hey itโ€™s Travis, cofounder of Repod, along with @emmettapps Last year our fascination was learning how podcasters build their listener communities. Most podcasters use a stack of platforms: Facebook Groups, Discord, Patreon, and etc. We learned this setup has a few problems: - Facebook Groups & Discord didn't help podcasters grow new listeners, nor could they monetize these communities - Patreon helps you monetization, but it lacked social engagement and discussions - Listeners had to manage multiple apps/platforms to connect with their favorite hosts while listening to podcasts So, we built Repod Communities, a way for podcasters to turn their listeners into a community by bringing together podcast discussions, memberships, and growth into one central place. Repod Communities is like Facebook Groups meets Patreon, but inside the Repod podcast app. If you're a podcaster who wants to build a more tight-knit listener community then here are some of the features you can explore: ๐Ÿ’ณ Offer paid memberships ๐Ÿ’Œ Accept tips ๐Ÿ” Import a private/premium RSS feed (i.e. Patreon) ๐Ÿ†“ Offer free membership trials ๐Ÿ“ฌ Collect shipping address (for fulling merch like stickers, t-shirts, or etc) ๐Ÿ”’ Create a public or private discussion room ๐Ÿ’ฌ Episode discussions ๐Ÿ”— Custom community links ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Connect with other podcasters in a โ€œpodcasters-onlyโ€ discussion room ๐Ÿ“ˆ Grow community by building next to other podcast communities ๐ŸŽง Full podcast app And if you're a listener, Repod Communities helps you connect and discuss with your favorite hosts. Let us know what you think!
