What do I do if I'm already an employee of Remote and want to hire contractors for a personal company?
Congratulations on your side hustle! Right now, you can create a new employer account with a different email address (preferably the one you use for your personal company), but we’re very close to allowing you to manage multiple accounts from one login, so keep an eye out for news about this.

Had the pleasure of using Remote for 5 months now. What I want to really write about it is that CS guy they have on the platform -- i think his name was Oluwagbadura. I hope that's his full name. He was very helpful, courteous and very hands-on in helping me resolve some issues i encounted on the platform. I assume he is a Contractor himself. Makers, take note, he deserves a raise! Job well done.

Thank you! One of the biggest challenges of working with contractors is the risk of misclassification. Employment laws vary by country (sometimes even within different regions in a country) and our contractor agreements are locally complaint to minimize misclassification risk. We also have a misclassification risk calculator that helps employers asses risk and help advise on next steps to ensure they are compliant.
