I've always though of this as "Stripe for remote hiring". I don't know why though, maybe because: šŸ’³ Stripe does the hard work of managing payments behind the scenes and you'll get a shiny dashboard with all that you need. šŸŒŽ Remote does the hard work of managing your remote team's payroll behind the scenes and you'll get a shiny dashboard with all that you need. This is definitely a much needed product for *our new remote world* ā€“ lets you hire a global team without really thinking about the legal aspects of it.

@jobvo On the pricing page it is written "Only pay payment processing fees". What fees are you referring to? We currently play with Trasferwise to minimize treansfer fees. Do you connect with TW?

Figuring out compliance, payroll and taxes can be burdensome for remote companies. Many choose to hire workers as "contractors", pushing the headaches to the worker and lower the burden on the company. Having workers in multiple US states can also be a headache. Thumbs up to any company that helps solve this problem! :)

There's a lot of variation in what companies need, and starting with a conversation helps Remote make sure we can help before we start onboarding.
