Remnote is by far the best note taking app I've used. I dont take advantage of the spaced repetition functions, but I love the linking and simplicity of the app, however being so feature rich. What I love the most are pdf features and multiwindows within the desktop app. It just fits my workflow in a way that it seems impossible to me it's all within one single app. As an architect/structural designer I have to keep track of a lot of building codes and normative that relate between each other, and linking and pdf features of remnote make my life easy.

Thank you, @ronald_elizondo! PDF annotation and multi-panes are indeed powerful features. I'm glad you could find useful workflows for your work as architect/structural designer! :)

Tried a whole bunch of PKM apps (Roam, Logseq, Mem, Notion, Tana, others) before finally settling on Remnote. I use it to take learning notes and review flashcards, daily journaling, task management both at work and home. Also have a shared knowledge base with my partner that we use to coordinate and record important things. Pros: - Well developed and fully integrated Spaced Repetition/Flash Card system - Fantastic UI - A sound structural philosophy, really nice middle ground between too much freedom (Roam) and too much structure (Tana). - Solid mobile apps - Clear roadmap/priorities, interactive devs Cons: - Chugs on huge documents - Some bugs in the WYSIWYG editor. I think I prefer Roam/Logseq's approach to editing better.
Martin Schneider
@plundh Glad to have you on board! That middle ground with just the right amount of structure is key. Thanks for the UI praise as well! How big of a document are we talking? We've made a number of improvements here recently (the editor is fully "virtualized" now) - if you think this is something we might be able to fix, please send us a note at support@remnote.com. (If the documents are massive, no promises though 😅)

@martin_schneider1 Hmm, you're right that it seems much improved. It might be that I mistakenly interpreted the lazy loading as the same issue since it can appear similarly if the network speed isn't optimal. Thanks!

RemNote is a fantastic tool for students. It allows me to easily capture and organise my ideas and thoughts in a way that is intuitive and easy to navigate. The flashcard feature is beneficial when studying for exams. It allows me to review my notes more interactively, using the learning science to help me get higher grades while spending less time studying. Additionally, the ability to highlight, reference, and link all of my source material is a huge time saver. It eliminates the need for application switching and makes it easy to find what I'm looking for. The Omnibar menu also allows me to complete actions in seconds. Plus, the best part is accessing and making changes to my notes offline. This feature is a huge plus and allows me to study wherever I am, whether or not I have internet access. RemNote is a game changer for my studying and long-term knowledge management. I highly recommend it to any student.

Been using RemNote for years on desktop and was so excited to try out the beta for the app!! It's been awesome being able to take my notes on the go for the first time and it's been life changing. It's got its bugs but all in all really great product!
Moritz Wallawitsch
Thanks, @sydney_liu_sl, for your continuous support!! We're working hard on eradicating the last few minor bugs and will release a new version later today.
