Building Relevyn: is AI recommending your brand, or your competitor?

by•

Hey PH 👋

I'm Tabor, co-founder of Relevyn. We're gearing up to launch here soon and wanted to open a thread early — partly to

build in public, partly because this community always sharpens the product before launch day.

The problem we kept running into: buyers don't just Google anymore. They ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini

"what's the best tool for X?" — and the AI answers with a shortlist. If your brand isn't on that list, you're invisible to a growing slice of your market, and you have no idea it's happening.

That's what Relevyn does: it runs real queries across all four major AI engines, shows you exactly how often each one

recommends you (vs. your competitors), tells you why, and gives you a specific content plan to get mentioned more.

What I'd love feedback on — a few things we deliberately did differently from other "AI visibility" tools:

- We ditched the single vanity score. A one-time "AI visibility score" is close to meaningless — AI answers vary run to

run. So we track your appearance rate over time: "you show up in 6 of 10 AI answers, trending up." The trend is the

signal, not the screenshot.

- We show our work. Most tools hand you a number and ask you to trust it. Relevyn shows the exact question we asked, the

real unedited answer, the sources, and a button to run it yourself.

- We close the loop. Publish content → we measure whether it actually moved your visibility. Not just a dashboard you

stare at.

Also just published a free library of GEO guides (what GEO is, GEO vs SEO, how to show up in ChatGPT/Perplexity) — no

signup, if it's useful to anyone here.

The ask: Follow the coming-soon page so you catch launch day 🚀 — and if you've ever wondered whether AI is naming you or

your competitor, there's a free ~30-second check (no card) at . Would genuinely love to hear what you'd want

to see before we ship.

What's the one thing you'd check first if you could see how AI talks about your brand?
