Hey everyone, I'm Preston, the maker of Regrade. This came from a frustration every student knows: you get a grade back, you feel like you left marks on the table, but you have no fast way to know where. I watched friends spend hours arguing over a few points, or just accept a score that wasn't fair because proving it was too much effort. I wanted something that could look at your work and tell you in seconds exactly where you could earn more. That's what Regrade does. You upload your work and within 60 seconds it reviews it and surfaces the extra marks you could realistically pick up, so you walk into a regrade request knowing precisely what to ask for instead of guessing. The approach changed a lot along the way. It started as a rough web tool, but students live on their phones and need this in the moment, so I rebuilt it mobile first as an iOS app in React Native and TypeScript. The hardest part was making the assessment both fast and trustworthy enough that people would actually act on it, so most of my iteration went into the grading logic and shaving down the response time. Would love feedback, especially from students and teachers. What would make this genuinely useful for you? Want a shorter punchier version, or one that leans more on the "first ever grade-assessor app" angle?
