In a world that continues to grow progressively busier, it can be difficult to keep up with important reading and industry trends. Love this app! I listen to a ton of long form articles and used to use speechify a lot, problem was it’s hard to digest/follow when it’s a long piece. The conversational/summary of recast is super helpful as it helps me get the gist of what’s in the articles with a lot less focus needed. Almost like a spark notes but audio? Worth a try!

great question! Yes, it works with any written content, as well as research and scientific articles! With the free plan, you can convert articles from the most popular news outlets like The Economist, The Financial Times, and Rolling Stones. We have an ever-growing whitelist of domains that we keep growing with customer feedback. However, for today's launch, we're waiving off any limitations, and you can convert any article from any domain (usually, you'll need the Pro plan to do that!).

The conversational, short format makes Recast enjoyable. Much better than word-for-word audio narration, which can quickly become tiring, especially long-form. I've been an early tester, and Recast's approach to audio consumption - via dialogue - is a more comfortable and familiar listening experience.
