If you followed re_gent, you’ll probably like this too

Hey all,

A lot of you followed re_gent because you felt the same pain we did:

AI agents are writing more code, but understanding what they did, why they did it, and what broke afterwards is still way too messy.

That same idea led us to another project we’ve been building: The Incident Challenge.

It’s a production debugging game for engineers.

You log into a realistic broken system, investigate logs, code, configs, docs, and architecture clues, then race to find the root cause, fix it, and deploy the solution.

AI agents are allowed.

But the challenge is designed so AI alone usually isn’t enough.

You still need real engineering instincts: where to look, what to ignore, and which weird detail actually matters.

We’re launching it on Product Hunt tomorrow.
