This is a personal project I've been working on for months, but now I want to grow it into a business. I strongly believe that there is room for a central place to easily store all your ratings and see your friends ratings. My goal is for rated to be the ultimate source of information in helping people decide what to watch, where to eat or what to buy. To me the idea of receiving a personal recommendation based on all my past experiences and others in a transparent data driven way is amazing. Would really appreciate any feedback about the concept and also the website/app if you give it a try.
This platform looks incredibly promising! How do you plan to handle potential biases in user-generated ratings?

that's a great question. One of the coolest things about Rated is that each user gets a similarity score with every other user based on your common ratings. Then each user gets predicted ratings which use all the similarities as weightings. So each user gets a personal prediction using a lot of data in a very transparent way.
