Photo apps make you choose: upload your library, or lock photos into a folder you can never search again. Safelight does neither. Photos go into an AES-256 vault unlocked by PIN or fingerprint, and you find them by describing them — "passport", "the whiteboard" — because the model runs on the phone. The app requests no INTERNET permission at all. Sharing strips GPS and EXIF without re-encoding: a receipt for an accountant, a listing photo for a buyer. Free, no ads, no account, no sync.

You can use any description you remember to find the photo. For example, a scenario described in your mind (e.g. "photos of our gathering"), a tone (e.g. "kite in blue sky"), or even an emotion depicted in that photo (e.g. "We fell in love").
