Release Notes v0.1.91

Your full Gmail history, a much faster app on large mailboxes, and one-click unsubscribe.

Your entire mailbox, not just the new stuff

Quartz now brings in your full Gmail history, not just mail that arrives after you connect. Older messages appear while sorting runs in the background, and you choose upfront how much of the backlog to sort — the rest waits for Process now.

Much faster on large mailboxes

We rebuilt how Quartz stores and reads mail: the archived view went from an eight-second wait to none, conversations open instantly on huge mailboxes, and heavy work no longer freezes scrolling or typing.

Unsubscribe in one click

When a sender supports it, one click gets you off the list — one email or a whole pile at once.

Improved

  • Codes, password resets, and sign-in links skip the queue to the top of your inbox.

  • Outgoing is now two screens, All Drafts and All Sent, with in-progress drafts inline in the thread.

  • A mailbox filter on All Emails and Search narrows to one account and sticks between restarts.

  • New mail appears the moment it syncs, even before it's sorted.

  • Quoted history collapses reliably across Superhuman, Apple Mail, and New Outlook, and revealing it keeps your place.

  • Smarter at spotting bulk and marketing mail, and it retries a failed message once.

  • Gmail hiccups and rate limits retry automatically.

  • Long emails display in full.

Fixed

  • No more "nothing here" flash while a screen or draft loads.

  • Opening an email from search clears its unread dot right away.

  • Gmail-synced drafts no longer clutter conversation threads.

  • The search box no longer autocapitalizes or autocorrects.

  • Sync progress no longer lingers in the footer after removing an account.

  • Fewer database errors during heavy syncing, plus patched security advisories.
