Use the arrow keys to move through emails and groups in the order you see them. Your selection stays clear of sticky controls, and focus follows along after archiving or undoing.

Choose what your emails load

You can now block remote images and other remote content in General settings, then load them for individual emails when you choose. A prompt appears only when something has been blocked, and loading it keeps your place in the conversation. Remote content remains enabled by default.

The inbox now opens as a simple newest-first timeline. Prefer the priority-grouped view that floats important mail to the top? It's still there now a choice in Settings General.

This release brings instant inbox search, smarter sorting for long emails, and a lighter, smoother day-to-day experience.

Find any email in seconds

Press Cmd+F and start typing Quartz now searches across senders, subjects, recipients, and the full body of your mail. Matches are highlighted as you go and ranked so the most relevant results rise to the top, so the message you're hunting for is never more than a few keystrokes away. Hit Esc to step right back out and return to your inbox.

Send with confidence

Closing a compose window right after sending could take the whole app down with it. That crash is gone compose windows now bow out gracefully every time, whether you send, close, or cancel.
