Oh my god, that picture of the license plate with the SQL injection on it is amazing. I haven't even gone to the website yet and I'm sold.

@narro for sure, and govt systems are still running on legacy tech, so won't be surprised if it actually drops some tables. lol
Hemant Kumar
@narro > I actually thought that this was where I sign up for programmerhumor.io Duuude I legit got confused when I saw that image on the homepage (I opened the site after 2 hours or so). I was like that this popup shouldn't be here (BECAUSE I MADE THIS SITE!), but then later realised it's a meme, lmao. 😂

Humor is one of the most important tools I use to keep me in the game. It's how I recover from FUDsauce and slinking back into a life of dry cleaning.
Hemant Kumar
@al3sha hahaha truly said, and out of everyone programmers need it the most after a frustrating day.

Haha, super cool. Tried a similar thing on my site: https://devdojo.com/fun, just haven't had as much time to dedicate to it. Maybe we can collaborate on something sometime. Quick question, how are you handling the upvotes system? Is it based on cookies, sessions, are you storing the user IP address to your database. Great job on the site BTW :)
Hemant Kumar
@tony_lea4 Thanks for the feedback Tony! I am currently storing the upvotes in local storage as well as in the database on the backend, but I'm not storing the IP addresses for privacy reasons. Also this means, anyone can open up an incognito window and upvote multiple times. Which I am okay with at this point because I don't think people have any incentive to do that yet. I know in the future I'll have to come up with something though.
