Good day everyone! We are very excited to share ProApp - Digital Design College with you. A mobile application to help you learn multiple design disciplines on the go. Let me tell you a little story on how the idea kicked in. We, the founders of ProApp, are engineers turned designers( @rajat_bagree, @rashikaahuja, @amey_patil075 & I). When we started our career in 2012, the lack of a structured way to learn design fundamentals for newbies like us at an affordable price posed a challenge to our self-learning. Since then, we have wanted to eliminate two big barriers to design education: cost and accessibility. With the mission to make learning design affordable & accessible to all, we started with a pilot by providing bite-sized design content on Instagram with carousels. And the response we received for this pilot was amazing. With this small but important success we had, we knew there were many lives we could positively touch by providing an easily accessible design education and that it was time to formalize our teaching structure. And then we thought of building a Digital Design College - a place for simplified and on-the-go learning. ProApp is built to teach design to anyone who wants to learn design with Bite-Sized content. Be it a beginner or a professional from any other industry, any individual who wants to step up their career or step in the design industry. And here we are, standing on the 2 years mark of this relentless chase, with 30+ courses from UI/UX Design, Design Thinking, Web Design, Graphic Design, HCI, UX Writing, Game Design, Motion Design, and many more. We are on our way to launching up to 50+ courses in the next couple of months and our very own desktop app real soon. ProApp is an initiative to share our knowledge and experiences with the ever-growing design community. We are looking forward to hearing your feedback and support on how we can improve. ?makers I have been using this app since it's early days. I have come to love how this product has matured over time. Got me hooked to it once I read some of UX design courses. Would love to see a web application and a dark mode someday in the near future! Kudos for bringing such an amazing product idea to reality!
