pressenter - Display Control interface for presenters!

by
Every time you present from a laptop, you're gambling. Mirror your screen and everything is visible. Use extended display and you're juggling windows, hoping nothing leaks. Pressenter is a simple control layer between your laptop and the projector. Your laptop stays private. The audience only sees what you send. Import, preview, then push. Clean playback, hidden controls, zero surprises.

What inspired me to build Pressenter came from being on the other side, not as the presenter, but as the person running the slides for someone else. At events, quizzes, and presentations, I was usually the one plugged into the projector, responsible for making sure everything looked clean on the big screen. And the setup always felt fragile. If I duplicated the screen, I risked exposing my entire laptop. If I used extended display, I had to constantly manage windows, dragging players to the second screen, hiding controls, setting backgrounds, and making sure nothing awkward showed up. It took attention away from the event itself. All I really needed was simple, reliable control over what the audience saw. So I built Pressenter as a layer between the laptop and the projector. You prepare your content, preview it privately, and only show what you intentionally send. Because when you are running a screen for a room full of people, you should not have to worry about what might accidentally show up.
