I’m the maker of Prallines.com. As someone who loves tasting different chocolates, I always felt there was a missing journal to keep track of my experiences—similar to what Vivino does for wine or Untappd for beer.

What started as a hobby project running on an overloaded, crashing cloud VM quickly evolved. To make the app crash-proof and fast for chocolate lovers worldwide, I completely rebuilt the infrastructure to be 100% serverless, using Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1, and R2 storage.

Now, you can just snap a picture of a bonbon or a chocolate bar, and the integrated vision models will automatically analyze the type, chocolatier, and filling to help you start your digital chocolate passport.
