Postcard Pigeon - Send your photos as real postcards
by•
We print and post your photos as real postcards to the UK, Europe and US.
We tried to make it as simple as possible: no accounts, no subscriptions, and simple, transparent pricing.
Pick a photo, write a message, and we’ll do the rest.

We hear agents can send your letters now.
We tried to make sending a postcard as simple and pleasant as possible for people who still want to do it themselves.
Try it for yourself — the first 50 postcards are on us. Use code PH-LAUNCH.

@przemek6 lol. Next step is MCP for those agents to streamline postcards?

@mut1na Some things shouldn’t be too easy, and the thinking shouldn’t be outsourced. If you have a photo you want to send someone and something you genuinely want to say, do it. If you don’t, don’t ask Claude & Co. to pretend it came from you :-)
Super easy process. Are you aiming for a specific type of user?

@mut1na Yes — ourselves, mainly. And other cool people too! :)
But seriously, we think it’s a really nifty little thing, especially when you’re hiking, travelling, or for sending photos from your every day life. check our instagram for examples

Picked a photo from my trip, wrote a quick note, and had a real postcard land at my mum's door a few days later. Love that there's no signup nonsense and the price is just shown upfront.
I use this to send postcards to myself as a way to print my photos and pin to my wall. Sometimes I also send postcards to my friends which makes them happy. I highly recommend postcard pigeon.

@anthonyec This means a lot to us Anthony, coming from you! Thanks for being one of the earliest adopters! Keep pigeonin'!

how long does it usually take for the postcard to actually arrive once you’ve placed the order
We say up to 7 working days in our terms to be on the safe side, but generally:
UK: 3–5 working days Europe: around 7 working days US: around 7 working days
We monitor delivery times and always do right by our users. If a postcard is delayed or goes missing (shit happens!), we’ll always either refund you, give you a voucher for another postcard, or both.

How does it handle address accuracy if someone only sends back a reply card without including their full address, and is there a way to track delivery once the postcard is in the mail?
Report
Maker
@kranurrurw There isn’t a reply card. The sender enters the recipient’s full address when placing the order, and we validate it to the best of our ability.
If an address turns out to be wrong, we can often amend it before printing or offer a discretionary reprint.
Postcards are sent by standard untracked mail, so there isn’t live delivery tracking once they’ve been posted.

Love the no-account approach, thats a refreshing take these days. Quick question though - how do you handle the back of the postcard, do you split the area between the message and the address yourself or do I get to design that part?

@masal7ddh We handle the layout automatically — the message goes on one side of the back and the recipient’s address on the other. You just choose the photo, write your message and enter the address.
And yes, we print emojis too!

Took about a week for my card to land in London and the print quality was honestly better than I expected from a phone photo. The no-account thing is genuinely refreshing.
