Big fan of what Birk and the team have accomplished in a short amount of time. Look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the open source community.
Thank you so much Brian! Really appreciate your support from day 1 and grateful to have you in our corner.
Goodbye, Lemon Squeezy, Stripe and Paddle. Hello, Polar!
This app really is a game changer for developers. Congratulations on the launch
Congrats on launching Polar! This is such an awesome platform for developers. Love the focus on getting open source devs paid and supporting indie hackers. The built-in features like SaaS and crowdfunding are super useful.😊
😍😍😍😍😍
Wow, Polar v1.0 sounds like an absolute game-changer for developers! 🎉 I love the idea of empowering developers to thrive independently and get paid for their passion projects. The range of options from donations to SaaS, plus all the built-in product and subscription benefits, looks super powerful. Handling sales tax and EU VAT as the Merchant of Record is also a huge relief. Congrats on launching! 🚀 Can you share any success stories from developers who've already benefited from using Polar? I'd love to hear how it's made a difference for them.
Congrats on the launch of Polar! 🎉 It’s exciting to see an open-source alternative that truly caters to developers. 🚀
Thank you so much Andreea for the kind words & support - genuinely appreciate it!
The pricing is fantastic and it's easy to set up crowdfunding, memberships, and digital products. I am going to see this in my next micro saas project.
That's awesome to hear! Make sure to join our Discord to connect with the team and community, we'd love to help you launch + iterate based on your feedback.
Hey Birk, How do you handle disputes or refunds, especially for digital products? Do you have any plans to integrate with existing developer platforms or marketplaces? Congrats on the launch!
Hi Kyrylo thank you and appreciate the questions. Re: refunds. Currently, end users reach out to us directly or developers/sellers reach out to us about refunds and we issue them on our end. It hasn't been an issue, but definitely something we want to streamline and automate much more, and will in the coming month(s). Intent is for developers to be able to easily refund orders and customers themselves with only a click. That's a priority for us to build. Re: marketplace. Not at the moment, but I'd definitely love to integrate with marketplaces that might make sense in the future. Great way to distribute products and get more sales for the community. Got anyone in particular you'd like us to integrate with?
Congratulations team polar?
Thank you Harish?
Sorry I had to pull that joke. It was right there for the taking 😅 Appreciate it Harish!
OK, I'll try it. I am an indie maker. Sound good for me :)
