Looks very cool! How are you doing layout recognition? Thats a surprisingly hard problem!

@djgrant Thanks for your Q - we're currently using gpt-4o vision cc @efecan
Efecan Erdur
@djgrant we're currently mainly using gpt-4o vision in combination with traditional OCR extraction methods. Most of the time we don't need to do anything extra, but some of the documents need additional context and prompting to make them work. For example we might need to add that some pages should be ignored or something like 7th page has a 7x7 table with a header. We think Playmaker will get better and better everyday because in the meantime we're fine tuning our own model specifically for document processing (not used in production yet).

Document AI seems incredibly useful for automating document workflows. How well does it handle documents with complex layouts or handwritten text? Also, are there any limitations we should be aware of when integrating it with existing systems? Congrats on the launch!
Efecan Erdur
@kyrylosilin So far we were able to work with almost of the problematic documents our customers shared with us. But we're currently focused on non-handwritten documents. I'd suggest filling the form or sending us an email so we take a look at it in detail.

YES! Big time launch for a company moving quickly! I'm excited about how this is using the Playmaker platform and AI to do something that none of us like to do (data extraction between disjointed documents and systems 🫠 πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«). I look forward to the day when no data is transferred incorrectly at work and in our personal lives. Thanks @giomate and @efecan for tackling this.
Tara Larson
@giomate @efecan I just chatted with some product friends and one is excited for data validation for things like Driver's licenses and other sources of individual or company identities in the future πŸ’₯
Rishabh Sonker
Thank you @taraannlarson, your support means a lot to us!
