Hiring felt broken at my last company — 100+ applicants a day for one role, and we ended up rejecting most to manage the chaos. It felt unfair. So I built Plavist — a tool that filters candidates, runs AI interviews, and helps you only talk to the right ones. When I was working at my last organisation, I noticed an issue in the hiring process. My HR used to call every person who applied for a job and send invites to everyone she saw on Naukri. The problem was that in our office, managing 120 applicants per day was chaotic, and honestly, we only needed one. I felt sorry for them because, after doing that, my HR used to ask me to conduct group interviews and reject most of them without reason, just to clear the chaos caused by her. So, what did I do? I created a platform called Plavist to solve this problem. You can create a job on the platform and share it, and then candidates can apply. If their resumes are suitable, we can send them an interview link, where an AI will ask questions. Based on the AI's assessment, you'll get a list of qualified applicants to connect with. I am working on this platform myself and want to know if this is a real problem I'm solving and if I should continue to build this.
